GTA IV…A month on and im not playing it

I remember when i covered the GTA IV launch at my local GAME store in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. I was so excited and i know all of the 100 people there were aswell and for the next week or so it was all i was playing and so too all of my friends were.

Then i just got bored with the game! I just cannot explain it at all. I have neither the craving of playing as Niko and shooting my way to a 6 star wanted level. This game got 10/10’s in most media reviews so what the hell is wrong with me?

Does anyone else have this problem? Are the Grand Theft Auto IV reviews justified?

    I know what you mean. The only reason I’m really playing it at the moment is to get the achievements because I can’t justify to myself not getting the most out of a game I looked forward to for so long and was so excited about. Apart from me, it seems that all my friends over Xbox Live stopped playing it as soon as they completed the story mode because to be honest, the online isn’t all that.
    I don’t think it deserved the perfect ratings it commonly recieved. I think it is an amazing story mode but compared to other games, online lets it down.
